Expressive colourful artwork, empowering sensible thoughts and affirmations. Has become a daily ritual!

I'm intentionally leaving this book unrated because, as much as I enjoyed the message, I found the format irksome. I am not a fan of the way many personal growth authors seek to enlongate their books by adding lengthy chapter recaps that, essentially, restate the chapter in bullet form. I find it a tad bit deceptive. As a reader, you expect to delve into a 200ish page book only to find a third or more of it is redundancy.

I love this book and felt that it was more focused than her earlier book Spirit Junkie, which I had a hard time getting through. I really liked how each chapter had actionable exercises and corresponding meditations, which fit perfectly into my morning routine.
There is some repetition here, and some of Gabby's anecdotes don't always come across as super relatable, but these are minor flaws that didn't really take away from the message for me.
Thanks to NetGalley for a review copy of this book.

If you get inspired by pretty images on Instagram with generic quotes then this book is perfect for you.
This is basically a self-help book for women with first world problems.
2 stars because I'm feeling kind.
