Yes ... but I am thinking. People that I really respect liked this book - I cannot say that I did... Several parts were interesting, the historical basis was interesting, but the book needed a serious editing. It could have been much shorter and said the same things once or twice, not ten times.

Great audiobook narration. Good mysterious vibes. The story didn't quite come together for me, the ending felt too easy, but I enjoyed it overall. I guess it was too cozy for me, I expected more eldritch weirdness
