This book was hilarious. I found myself cackling as Imogen faced challenges like a tyrannical coworker obsessed with imitating Google, compulsory spirit cycle classes, and coordinated dances to Beyoncé songs. The authors did a great job of presenting the challenges of older generations working with millennial while not condescending to an entire generation. The story felt balanced, witty, and honest. I found myself rooting enthusiastically for Imogen to prove everyone wrong and own her authority as an authority in the fashion world.
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Katherine Kellgren. Her performance is hilarious and added an extra layer of comedy to the story. I definitely recommend listening to the book if it's an option.

DNF— I contemplated forcing myself to finish this book because I am not a quitter but I also was bored out of my mind thinking about everything but what I was reading . 108 pages I read and I couldn’t read one more sentence. The plot line was not believable or realistic and the characters were quite lame.
I wanted this to be just a fun story, and on the whole it was. However, I kind of began to resent the idea presented in the book that Millenials are all entitled, spoiled, overly ambitious brats! While I'm not quite a Millenial, I'm closer to them in age than the average Gen Xer and began to resent the exaggerated cons of the group. I realize that it's SUPPOSED to be that way to add to the fight of Imogen and the grace under pressure and cleverness she conveys. But please know that as a whole, the group is not like that at all and understand that there is much to learn from our mentors.
Great, easy beach read
I intended to read this while on the beach but ended up just binge reading it in under 24 hours the day upon returning from the beach. Basically a 2015 play on the devil wears prada but an addictive easy summer read nonetheless.

So much fun! This book was a witty, intelligent bubblegum read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loved how it was a reverse of devil wears Pravda with updated subjects. This book was a great read!
