Absolutely intriguing- 7 short stories (some as short as a few paragraphs) based on various ideas/myths/creatures. One of the stories, in particular, left me wanting more- and one of the stories captured my interest so fully it took me until about 5 minutes after reading it to realize that K.W. Taylor created an entire story that boiled down to "She walked down the stairs in the dark." "Christmas Wrapping," the longest of the tales, is fascinating and sad, while "Gradlon," the shortest, is somehow hopeful and mysterious all at once. Taylor's writing grabs immediately, and the only thing stopping the book from getting 5 stars is the one story that left me wanting so much more- "Bugul Noz." It's certainly a good thing when you want to just keep reading!
