I found myself struggling to get into this one. The humor felt forced, the scenes were drawn out and felt like a lot of filler. I don’t feel like the story really progressed anywhere and I found myself not really caring if I finished or not. The end was better and I would like to know what happens, but it will require a break before I dive back in.

These two write letters to each other?! Come on. I couldn’t take how cute/hot this was.

Smut kicks up a notch, Finley is finding her place, which I love. And ending it with a letter. Please…I love this.

This book just doesnt hold any interest for me like the first one did. I wont be finishing the series

This book was really good. I just happened to come across an ad for this series on Facebook when I finally decided to start reading it last week. I flew through the first book and read this one even faster. The writing is immaculate and I really enjoy both characters, especially Finley. My only reason for the four star rating is that the plot was lacking a bit. There were some moments where it felt like they were running around in a circle, not actually completing any tasks or actively solving a problem. Other than that, this book was amazing and I can’t wait for the third installment to come out.

Boy was this book hot. I saw a lot of reviews stating that there was too much sex. PSHAW. If the plot is banging, how can there be too much banging. Okay so yes it is the second book in the series and those typically suffer a little bit with the whole moving of the story to the big points, but this book was so good. The sexy bits are enough to fog up your glasses. Damn if she doesn't write some really great steam.
I loved this book, even though the ending pissed me off. The second book tends to piss me off in a series focused on one couple because somebody either does something incredibly noble or incredibly stupid (sometimes it's both). And now we have to wait to see how this will be resolved.

This was another great book from K.F. Breene! I haven't been reading much paranormal romance lately and I have really missed it. She's definitely getting me back to my favorite genre, but much like Nyfain and Finley, I may be ruined for other authors after all the steam in this series! Nyfain and Finley are so fantastic, I love their humor and their chemistry. Hadriel is my favorite side character and I definitely want to see more - he is such a perfect sidekick for Finley's snark, there couldn't be a better platonic match! And I am hoping we get to see a bit more of Hannon as well, as I suspect more of her family
Spoilerwill turn out to be the same shifter type.
And of course, since this ended on a cliffhanger, I can't wait for the next book!
