Otro gran libro de esta saga. Me encantaron Sergei y Angelina. El personaje masculino me pareció muy poderoso y con una historia impactante, mientras que el femenino no logró atraparme tanto como los de las dos entregas anteriores. Aun así, disfruto mucho cómo se van entrelazando las historias de los distintos libros de la saga y cómo nos vamos adentrando cada vez más en el mundo de la bratva.

Mafia romance. He finds her starving in the back of a cargo truck and saves her from an arranged marriage with the head of cartel. She stays with him (kind of against her will at first) and becomes the only person who can get through to him when he is having disassociating episodes. There is a lot going on and it’s kind of ridiculous but it all works. I kind of love a couple that can fix each other.

Nickname: Little Fox
The Lovely: I loved the wicked banter between the FMC and the MMC and the hysterical sarcasm against the backdrop of some heavy topics. I also loved how the FMC handled the MMC struggles and how she pushed others in his life to do the same.
The Mundane: Compared to the first two books, it didn’t feel like this book had as much of a plot to the FMC and MMC’s stories. Most of the book was more about their relationship, with the plot popping back up towards the end.
Recommendation: This is my tenth (I think?) Mood Read May book. I was still in the mood for something dark and emotional but wanted to switch to mafia romance and I needed something fairly short. This wasn’t super angst/emotional but still hit the spot as there was some hurt/comfort vibes. If you like a shorter dark mafia romance with an unhinged MMC and supportive FMC, I think you would like this book.
