I HATE when fmc gets threatened with either harm to her or the mmc and then rather than talking about it with the mmc so he can make plans and keep them safe she does what the villain wants. That alone makes this at best 4 stars. She really thinks if she does what the villain wants that the mmc will be safe?? Give me a break. I want a strong fmc who trust the mmc knows his shit(esp one like Sergei who kills so many in this book alone) and they make a plan together. Not one who breaks his heart in order to "save" him. Ugh. Like if we want a final scene with Sergei vs all Diegos men then just have fmc kidnapped ffs.
