For a monster smut novella, this wasn’t half bad. Would recommend.

Lyonne Riley never misses.

This has to be my favorite book by Lyonne so far!

Both the Orc and troll were naughty and nice with their own personalities that set them apart but complimented each other so well.
I could feel the missing piece finally connect when they accepted Esme and she them.
The betrayal I saw coming was heartbreaking… I didn’t want it to happen then it just kept snowballing from there.

It was an enthralling read with the cutest and hottest moments

This was my first Lyonne Riley book and I'm in love with this world. Thank you, Lyonne, for the opportunity to read this.

Esme is a human who just wants to be free. Not a soldier, not a toy, not a dog...

Drazak (the orc) & Han'zir (the troll) just want to live life without worry in their quiet little slice of heaven.

However, everyones worlds are turned around when Drazak and Han'zir find little human Esme in their barn. She somehow convinces them to let her stay, even though they don't speak the same language. Han'zir has always wanted a little puppy, so the human is a perfect fit.

However, the war isn't over yet...

The SPICE.
The LOVE.

Just everything, yes. This is a fantastic quick monster romance. 10/10 will be reading again.

Esme and her men♥
This was the most spice-filled of the series, but it's got plenty of fantastic plot too ♥

Esme is on the run from the war and winds up wounded, hiding in Drazak and Han'zir's barn. They are less than happy but take her in as their new puppy.

I loved the relationship between Drazak and Han'zir; it was sweet but missing something, and that was Esme! The angst was so good, and I loved the longing they each went through. They all wanted each other, but the guys didn't think they should want a human, and Esme didn't want to butt into their existing relationship. I love a language barrier trope, in this case, it caused some drama, but it made the whole story so engaging. I knew that the guys would make things better but my heart was very sad for a bit.

They were all willing to give up so much to be together. It was a beautiful little story, and the spice was SO hot. I love the way they work all together, they really were made for each other.

This series gets better and better with every installment, and I am invested. There wasn't as much lore in this one as far as the magic or the mystery of humans and Trollkin being mates.

This was possibly the sappiest sweetest love story ever! My heart melted and I cried! I loved falling in love with these characters. In the end they were both kind gentle and loving with their human. The love scenes were so spicy I sweated while I read!

Super steamy and cute novella, however it’s my least fave of the series.

I liked the idea of of a ménage, but i don’t think there was much depth to their attraction..it was purely physical and they just wanted to bone the entire time. There were sweet moments that I enjoyed but they were quickly overshadowed by the spice. I didn’t really swoon with this one like I did with all the other books in this series.
But if what you’re in the mood for is a spicy good time between a troll and an orc (existing relationship l), and their new female human mate, then this is definitely the one for you! Because if there’s one thing every book in this series has, is immaculate spice!

Devoured! Absolutely devoured this book. I received an early copy and read it in 4 hours the day I got it. I have not read the first 4 books in the series, but I'm absolutely going to now! I couldn't put it down and stayed up way to late on a work night to find out what happens when Esme, Drazak, and Han'zir find each other when they least expect it.
