This is a great psychotic thriller which will horrify you the most in winter time. The storyline was amazing but still was a bit of draggy for me.

I was very annoyed. This was a chick lit novel in disguise!!

Nothing really happened until the end.

If you've ever been to the Isle of Wight you'll recognise the descriptions and Whitehouse writes some pretty prose. T'was not for me though
dark medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I would really struggle to tell you how this is diffent to Before We Met, other than the setting of course. Whitehouse *can* write, both books are very readable, but sadly the book as a whole entity is pointless.

The plot maps out exactly as you think it will from the first few pages, come on give the reader at least a little twist! A lot of the secondary characters are poorly developed and ultimately not required for the plot. Again the female character is unlikeable and ridiculously weak willed. And again the main male character is poorly developed beyond simplistic typical bad traits.

Whitehouse has potential as a writer so will keep an eye out for future books.

I liked this book because it was realistic, this does happen to people and people like Richard do exist!

I really enjoyed the writing style and descriptions, I was hooked from the beginning.

I wasn’t expecting the ending... not sure if I’m pleased with it or not!
