EHFWRUQYEGFDISVBNCMLOIUYTREWSDXCVG IT WAS SOSOSOSOOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOS GOOOOOOODD. as you may be able to tell, I loved this book. Cassandra Clare is one of my favorite authors and this was the perfect start to this series. The characters were so well developed. It was hard not to like them, even if they were part werewolf. THE PLOT TWIST AT THE END THOUGH. This is a MUST read and I can't WAIT to read the rest of the series. (yes, there is a plot twist at the end. and NO that is not a spoiler bc you'll never see it coming *hint the plot twist*)

I re-read this for Emma Books’s 2018 The Mortal Instruments read along. 😁 I’ve read it once before, years ago & before I’d even heard of/joined Goodreads. I saw the boxset of the first 3 Books in the series on offer on Amazon U.K & thought they sounded good-The rest is history! πŸ˜‰

I really enjoyed getting back into this series in Book form. 😁 I’m up the date with the T.V show & I enjoy that too {in a different way}-But obviously the Books are more detailed & the original story is quite different, in many ways.

In this first Book I love the world building & development of the story & characters. πŸ‘πŸ½ But I’m not into Clace eclipsing everything & everyone else & Clary being a pain in the ass sometimes! 😝 But I think that certain aspects of their behaviour are now not that relatable & childish to me, a 31 year old {they’re Teens-Mostly 17}! πŸ˜… I went through all that shit years ago, thankfully! πŸ’© But hey, I still like YA/NA Books/T.V/Films! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
