Fun read as the previous ones. Stakes are getting a bit higher.
Wish I’d found these as a kid/during my percy jackson era. Would’ve loved it then

Always a fun read. Listened with the girls for our “Art and Alcatraz” sessions during the summer quarantine-ish time. The chapter titles are super random seeming but also fun (24601, or 8657309, NCC1701 and many more). Also fun are the exploding teddy bears, though my 7yo struggled with that idea as she still loves her stuffies. Another good thing about these books is the basic (and silly) introduction to philosophy that they give-this one is Heraclitus. All with daring Smedry action and silly Talents running amok.

This is by far my favorite Alcatraz book so far. The story was great, and the new information we learn really helps evolve the story. But this is easily the funniest of the the series so far. The chapter numbering had me giggling the whole time, and there were many other jokes that made me laugh aloud. I really enjoyed this book.

Part ini lebih menggelisahkan. Penuh dengan kebodoar yang haqiqi. Alcatraz mulai disesaki kebimbangan level maximum. Sebenarnya udah ketebak sih di buku sebelumnya. Akan kemana arah dan tujuannya. Walaupun tetep aja bikin saya ngakak lebar, tapi aing ikut juga gelisah gegara Alcatraz

The Shattered Lens is probably the best book in the series so far. It is intense, action-packed, and just felt very consequential.

This one was actually really interesting to me in that it explored the themes of being a leader, and the duties and responsibilities that come with it. And this is a book for middle schoolers. Pretty fantastic. Plus the jokes are super on point. And Caz is always a plus.
