I am an adult who still loves YA books. They are filled with so much juicy drama. This one is the literal definition of “I can get away with anything”. I wasnt sure if i was gonna like this one because the chapters were so long but the more I read the more trapped I became. Im so glad I stuck it out because the ending was even better than I imagined. It seemed so cut and dry at first and then it got deeper and deeper into a tangled web. Brilliant!!
This reminds me so much of One of us is Lying. A bunch of snobby teens about to graduate High school and no one seems to care that one of them is a killer. They don’t want to bring up the past, they all just want to get the hell out of high school. Jill can’t seem to get over the death of her best friend but she is determined to make senior year the best one yet. When Graham, three years later is saying he's innocent it makes people start to question what exactly happened 3 years ago. This was a juicy drama filled story.

Just nothing here that was particularly special. Very forgettable
The entirety of the novel focuses on these rich high school kids, who are essentially in a cult with horrible initiation ceremonies, who want to get into Ivy League schools. Here's a tip, instead of being a 'Player' (literally the name of the cult group whatever) and cheating: actually study (they're all smart enough to do so). The most important thing of all was that there wasn't any grand reveal of the murderer- yes it was surprising, but you're telling me that a guy got REJECTED by a girl and his method of fixing it was KILLING HER? That's disgusting.
