thoughts?
The LONG AWAITED sex scene between the three of them made me so mad because  wdym you don’t know who is where and doing what?! I need details you BITCH. Why is all our other sex scenes multiple chapters and this was so short.
Not forgiving Jennifer for this.
We better get more in future books.
I’m also so glad that I started this while it only had like 5 books because oh my fucking good this series will be long and this universe is huge it’s so daunting.
Also
I ended more confused than I have ever been.
Primal this
Primal that death life death and life gods deities switching powers bad guy like ohmygod the last chapter was information overload and now I’m going to spend four hours on reddit trying to piece it all together. I’m highkey here for the women being the most powerful ( # feminism ) I like that nyktos isn’t shit compared to the consort ☺️ but the whole lineage and how the powers were passed down was so fucking confusing I’m not going to lie

The passion and dedication between Poppy and Casteel is truly a story for the ages.

But when Poppy returns to Solis to recover her husband and King, she discovers family she didn't know she had.

Reaver will give you some comic relief with his banter and eternal nudity.

The joining between Kieran, Poppy, and Casteel truly rounds out the passion and love in the relationship between the three of them.

And in true JLA fashion, you will be left with a surprising cliffhanger!

I like how complex this story is. I’m normally pretty good at predicting what’s going to happen but there were quite a bit that i didn’t predict. And i think that i understand the prophecy but then someone gives more details to change my understanding. I really enjoyed it! I thought there would be more battles, i think we only really got one siege and one battle, but that’s fine.

Woah, that was a whole lot of plot. But I loved having chapters from Casteel's point of view! I also liked how I saw more of Kieran, because he is the best character in the whole series... I can't wait for the next book!
