Synopsis:
Vanitas has a magical grimoire that has the ability to cure cursed vampires. He meets Noe in Paris and Noe agrees to help him on his mission.
My Thoughts:
Wow, they jumped right in, didn’t they? One page, cute and fluffy. Next page, chaos. It was still amazing, hence the high rating, it was just crazy how everything escalated so fast, and we were thrown a lot of information right away. But the story is intriguing, and I LOVE the art style, the art is absolutely stunning. I will be continuing the manga and checking out the anime.
What I loved about the manga:

▶️The characters, they are all intriguing, and I cannot wait to learn more about them.

What I didn’t like:
⏹️Too fast paced imo. (even for a manga)
⏹️SO much info-dumping at the beginning that it got a little confusing at first.
Read this manga if:
- You love manga first off.
- You love steampunk and historical settings.
- You appreciate stunning artwork.

Unfortunately, within the past two years, I've fallen out of the habit of reading manga and likely for that reason, this was sligtly difficult to approach. I feel like I started to understand things after the middle (although, I definitely didn't understand everything!) but the first half was just one big mess for me!
But despite, not quite understanding everything, I really enjoyed Mochizuki's art and I loved the balance between the intense (?) fights scenes and the funny moments! I think I'll read the second volume as well, to see if I understand things any better and whether or not I should continue with this series.

Awesome start with a bang
Its an amazing book, filled with adventure, suspense and mystery. The art work is also very beautiful and well done. Mochizuki-sensei always does excellent job and this series shows it as well. I'm loving the series and can't wait to finish it all.

Lo leí hace tiempo, pero ahora que lo releo encuentro tantas cosas de las que no me acordaba y que me encantan.
El dibujo de la mangaka es precioso, el estilo steampunk en parís me fascina, Noé y Vanitas me encantan y no olvidemos la historia que es muy interesante.
Ya había leído Pandora Hearts, la obra anterior de la autora y es de mis favoritas, no puedo esperar a ver cómo me sorprende con esta historia.
