I was not able to connect to this book, it isnt a "bad" book. I think it is maybe just a bit boring or a bit too generic. I didn't really connect to a single character throughout the whole book. I will probably read the sequel, just to know what happens. But I wouldn't really say this was a bombshell of a read.
This was excellent. It was fun and interesting and had magic and mythology and mystery. I love a heist. There were some pieces that felt a little clumsy, some reveals that could have been more refined, and I’d have loved to feel a little more passion in the partnership. But I loved the evolution of Kierse and Graves’ relationship. I wish we’d seen more of Kierse/Gen/Ethan rather than just hearing Kierse talk about how much she loves her friends. I also wish there had been more of a show of Kierse’s thieving rather than just her talking about how much she loves being a klepto.
Overall, 4 stars for enjoyment and because I’ll definitely read the sequel. 2 1/2 stars for execution.

Interesting.... I was unsure of how the story was going to go. I had a couple of theories kinda feel like there is more to Tara's part..... but we'll see. UGH. I really liked how Kierce came back and actually talked about it!!! Only to still need information from Graves..... come on dude. But there is no way it's over!! I refuse... will Lorcan end up with Ethan though? or will it be a why choose? I guess that comes down to if Graves and Lorcan are actual brothers? that might be too much.... I am interested in the story though and excited for the next one!! will I be able to read a print version though?!?!?!?!?
