A good message about a little girl who tries her best and always wants to help out. However, I felt the text was out of step, particularly with regards to the sometimes unsuccessful attempt at rhyming. The illustrations did nothing to further flesh out the story, at times seeming to contradict the text and only beginning to hint at a funny direction this story could have taken. Still deserves 3 stars for the message about helping kids to feel secure by making them feel important and giving them a job to do.
