okay i quite literally could not love a book more. this is the book i needed to read in high school. i am so happy with how this was written and the plot is just *chefs kiss*. the acknowledgments at the end of the book have me sobbing cause it is so true. this book will help so many people and god bless casey mcquiston for that. i love these characters so bad and i think it is cause i am them

estou lendo esse livro há aproximadamente 30 mil dias e confesso que o começo demorou pra me prender. eu estava engajado mas não era 100%, eu li físico também o que me fez ficar com uma dificuldade de logística. contudo, nesse fim de semana tornei a minha missão ler tudo e, em muitos capítulos movido pela força do ódio, li de uma vez. é complicado pra mim ler livros que se passam no ensino médio porque me frustro com os acontecimentos que só acontecem por serem adolescentes, mas muitas coisas nesse livro me tocaram por ter sentimentos e experiências parecidas, momentos em que cheguei até a me emocionar. acho que esse é um livro muito especial em muitos sentidos, apesar de demorar pra se tornar isso pra mim.

This was a fun and interesting read. I had fun trying to figure out where the plot was going, and while it was predictable, it was still an enjoyable read.
I found the main character frustrating at times but I think that was a little bit the point. Her character changing and learning things was refreshing to watch.
I loved the character growth from almost all our characters, and I enjoyed the book overall.
I kind of wish we got some sort of epilogue or something like a year from the ending to see where everyone was at but that’s just me and wanting more closure.

A fun, light read after more of the heavier books I’ve read. I think one of the reasons I liked this book so much was because it was in a 180 from the depressing books I read. Starting out, I didn’t really like Chloe and thought the premise of the book was stupid. I mean, why are three kids chasing after this one girl? I read more and thought it was even stupider after Chloe lost her friends and fell back on studying because she was chasing after Shara. But after Shara came back, it was really cute to read Chloe riling her up. This book is such a cliché and was a fun read which is why I enjoyed it so much in the end.
