I know these books are problematic and I won’t deny that at all but they hold a special place of nostalgia in my heart so I can’t let them go. I enjoy these books while having no respect for Stephanie Meyer and her disrespect towards the Quileute tribe.

This book had a lot more emotion and suspense than Twilight. I wasn't expecting what happens between Edward and Bella. I felt really bad for Bella throughout this book because she just couldn't seem to catch a break.

It was nice to read more about Jacob. I love the friendship he and Bella develop throughout this book. The scene with Jacob, Mike, and Bella was hilarious to me.

There were a lot of suspenseful parts that I enjoyed because I had no idea how the conflicts would be resolved. I definitely wasn't a big fan of Rosalie in this book because of how she acted towards Edward.

Overall, I loved the friendship in this book and the fact that I couldn't predict what was going to happen next.
