My first time reading a jujutsu kaisen manga after watching the anime, I’m surprised how much the characterdesigns differ, but I really enjoyed it!

definitely my favorite volume so far. after hearing that Yuta would be making a return in the manga, i knew i finally had to give in and read the prequel. i heard Yuta was actually supposed to be the original main character of the franchise and i don't get why the author didn't just go for that decision. while Itadori is an unconventional protagonist in certain respects, there's a limited scope that comes with such a character. his inherent mental strength curtails opportunities for character arcs and emotional growth. on the other hand, Yuta would've been a perfect character to follow, going from the bottom to the top, providing a more entertaining and resonating experience. there're so many other elements i loved but i don't want to ramble on and burn out of writing because i have quite a few more volumes to go :0.

WOW, this was pretty dang cool/awesome/kick-ass! Definitely need more of this series and maybe I should check out the anime.
About a boy with a curse following, a curse who is very deredere/in love with him and will do anything to protect him.. even if he may not want that because murder teehee, about a girl who became that curse but did she do it herself or did someone else do it?, about powerful people who don't seem to care much for humans or killing them, there is a ton of battles, characters to get used to (I wonder if I will ever get used to that girl and her attitude), curses and all that surrounds them, and so much more. It was at times quite gruesome, other times I almost cried, and that ending was just so good. I need more!
