nahh gojo and that hollow purple was too clean, i had to admire the artwork for a second. he really is interesting.. i'm in love with gojo actually you guys, crazy i know.
Though the combat can be a tiny bit difficult to follow, I’m really loving that I’m reading the manga. I love getting to see the specific frames and words the author finds important. Sometimes when you see something animated it’s just so fluid that it ALL feels important. But having moments highlighted for me in still images to dissect has been really fun.
This one give so much more lore! I’ve learned more about Tengen in the manga then I did with the whole Hidden Inventory anime arc, and were so far ahead of that right now that I’m kinda shocked. There’s also way more context and explanation of complicated topics.
Shit got INTENSE in this one huh? We stopped personal arguments to deal with a bad guy real quick. Little Inumaki flex cameo, plus grandpa principle rockstar!! The Zen’in kids on the rooftop was SICK. And I’m obsessed with the Todo x Itadori moments. Also goooojoooooooo 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

This was, overall, a much better volume. Mostly because it focussed on a single, long-lasting fight, spanning several characters and scenes. It is also one of the few scenes in which Toge shines (cries). It's shame, however, that the other two possible fights happened in a blink of an eye/were of no consequence. Why introduce a battle for only it not to happen. Old dude had sick guitar powers and the author did nothing with it. Not to mention that all female characters but Maki were useless in this volume, showing up near the end and for the enemy to flee. Like, why is everyone allowed to be badass but not the women? I did like Todo as a character and find him facanating. He is much smarter than I initially thought and I like his friendly nature with Yugi; he isn't hostile like the others. I figure we will see more of the Kyoto school eventually, though for now I assume we wrap it up? I dunno. Overall, it was nice, but I can't say I am partciularly emoiotnally attached the most of the cast. Once again, I think I might have to go the anime route (especially as I still try to postpone picking up the next volume )
