Fast read, amazing, just the right amount of kink.

I actually started this book yesterday and I just couldn’t put it down. If it weren’t for the fact that at about halfway my eyes were tired and started deleting blurry when reading I would have finished it last night .

I love the story and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

For the life of me i really coubn't get into this book. For some reason its just not doing it for me, and i honestly don't care enough to go into why. I'll perharps give it another shot some other time.

I only realized that I already read this book in 2013 when I came here to add it to my currently reading list. I must have been in a crappy mood the first time around because I didn't rate it and its possible I DNF it. This time I loved it. It was even better reading it and knowing there are more books in the series.

I am glad I took the risk and bought the first book in the series which resulted in that I stayed up all night reading the book and delayed reading the end till I get the rest of teh series .. I am sucker for these kind of romance stories
The writing style is really grasping and the storyline ain't boring
Hope in book two I get more insight in Blake Landon character and past
slow-paced

Couldn't put it down. Heavy sex. Strong, controlling man, similar to Fifty Shades of Grey, but unlike that story, this one has a strong female character who doesn't let him get by with being controlling.

Warning!
I'll criticize it hard. I hope I won't offend anyone.

Ok, let's get started. It might be my fault because today I feel really salty and bitchy, so sorry if I am too subjective. But I didn't like this book. And I read a fair amount of books and romance + NA are my "speciality", my guilty pleasure.
With all the respect for the author and because I really really wanted to like this book, I'll say what I liked first.
1. Blake
He was ok, he kind of intrigued me, being a hacker (or a rumoured one) and everything. I also liked the fact that he didn't accept her idea at first. Honestly, I expected him to accept it just because he wanted to f*** her.

2. The beginning
Yes, I stopped reading it at 30% but I do admit that the beginning was promising. I discovered it was easy to read, then I put it down and when I picked it up again, my mood changed.

Now, please don't kill me, girls. I saw a lot of positive reviews for this one, which got me even more excited to buy it on Black Friday.
The biggest problem was: I f***ing hated the heroine. It's been a while since I hated a heroine this much.
Let me explain.
She was selfish af and stupid (in my opinion, of course) af and I can't stand people like this.
Selfish because
Spoiler she didn't even try to pretend she was happy for her supposed bff when she got the job or, heck, even when she slept with that guy she really liked. Seriously? Erica knew Alli really wanted that job, but because she had to move to NY, Erica wasn't happy at. all. She acted like everything is wrong and everyone has to understand her. Well, unfortunately for her, I did not. Of course, I do not know her story, but it has to be one hell of a story to make her act like this.

And stupid because
Spoiler she said something and done something completely different. I read it in my native language, so I can't give you exact quotes.

Erica: I don't want to go on a date with Blake, he's such a jerk. It's true that I want to sleep with him, but I want to be professional.
Blake: hey, babe. I'll pick you up at 8.
Erica: Oh. My. God. I'm totally spending 5 hours on choosing a dress and another 5 for choosing shoes. I know I said I don't want to go, BUT

Or

Blake: where are you? I'm in Boston and I want to see you.
Erica: I don't want to tell him.
Erica 2 seconds later out loud: I'm at...
Blake: k I'll come in 5 minutes
Erica: Oh God he hang up before I could tell him not to come. Well, I guess I'll just go sit on a bench and wait for him.

Please no.
Update: I read some negative reviews and I saw that I'm not the only one bothered by the heroine or the lack of descriptions. What do we know about the protagonists? He's gorgeous and he has green eyes and I think she mentioned she's blonde. Honestly, I think I can give you a more accurate description of the side characters.
