This was a terrible book, the author had far too many ideas and tried to shove them all in (parental issues, work issues, friend issues, relationship issues, hacker issues, sex issues, assault issues off the top of my head), you don't need to put ALL the plots in one book. Also, she wrote some seriously annoying characters who you just wanted to slap because they were so stuck on themselves that they don't seem to be three dimensional or live in a world that could be real.

I kept going because I, wrongly, thought that it was the first book of a series where the books would be about different but related characters. Turns out that the rest of the series is about the same two idiots so I'm not signing up for that.

Better written than is common for these. The hacking, back and side stories are at least as interesting as the main affair between hot billionaire (do they come any other way?) Blake and appealing CEO of a start-up called Clozpin (:+) named Erica. The cliffhanger ending will swept many directly to book 2. I'm made of slightly stronger stuff.

This book was published in 2015 and maybe if I’d read it back then, I’d have liked it. But in the post #metoo world, this book reeks of sexual harassment and an unequal distribution of power. Blake is a the cliched powerful alpha billionaire and Erica is an up and coming tech entrepreneur trying to find her professional footing. I hated that every time Erica told him no, Blake did his level best to try and convince her to say yes. It just was super creepy. I’m not sure why this books was so popular but I will not bother with the rest of the series - this really is not my jam.

Principio de saga que te enganchará desde el principio con un romance apasionado y que te dejará con ganas de más.

Lo que más me llamó la atención para empezar estos libros fue el hecho de que el protagonista masculino fuera un hacker y aunque apenas hemos podido vislumbrar un poco de todo esto al final, es evidente que toda esa trama va a ser fundamental en los siguientes libros.

Así pues, con el mayor aliciente de empezarlo fuera de escena, ¿qué ha hecho de este libro una lectura tan buena y entretenida? La respuesta no puede ser otra que los dos personajes principales y esa relación de tira y afloja que hace que no puedas parar de leer un capítulo tras otro.

No estoy de acuerdo con algunas acciones y actitudes controladoras de Blake pero me encanta que Erica nunca se quede callada y le demuestre que su vida es suya y no va a dejar que nadie más la controle. Porque se puede escribir una historia apasionada con un personaje femenino real, con debilidades pero fuerte y luchadora que no necesita de nadie para mostrar lo que vale.

La trama es interesante aunque no deja de ser bastante introductoria para el resto de la saga. La forma de escribir de la autora es muy buena y las descripciones en las escenas de sexo están tan bien llevadas que no se hacen pesadas como en otros libros eróticos.

Estoy deseando seguir con el siguiente libro para ver como Erica y Blake se las apañan para compaginar sus vidas profesionales con las personales sin perderlo todo en el intento. Además espero con ansias que la autora profundice en la oscura trama del pasado de los personajes y su relación con los hackers.
