Deception Point

How this book didn't make him instantly renowned I'll never understand.
adventurous dark mysterious tense fast-paced

This is mix of a techno-thriller and a political thriller. I enjoyed the information about the meteor and everything around it. The politics part was also well done. Rachel's father is a person you have not choice but to dislike him. Sadly people like him exist in real life.
The romance subplot was there, it was fine and moderately well done. I enjoyed the book as a whole, this is a nice fast paced thriller.

I enjoyed this. I like to wait a year or so between each of his books, because I do find them similar.

Quick read, obvious plot with slow build up. Unnecessary last paragraph.

Typical “Dan Brown“, but very entertaining for a vacation read

En realidad no me gusto, por mas que intente no pude conectar con la historia o con el misterio que esta envolvía, simplemente quise terminarlo para entender el porque y quien, sin mucho mas interés.

The book was quite a build up
Thought some of the characters could face some consequences for thier actions
Last few 100 200 pages were really good
But the starting was good too

I love a good suspense action book, and he writes so that I never want to put it down. All of his books are read in one go as the chapters end in a way that urges you to keep reading to see what happens next.

A taut thriller that takes some time to get its legs under it and get moving but once it does, oh my! does it deliver. A lot of science and a lor of cutting edge tech in the hands of political and military operatives. You can tell there is some age to this by the use of some of the tech in it, but that does not detract from the edginess of the storyline. A good Dan Brown novel.
