THIS WAS AMAZING! The plot was fantastic, scientific concepts were explained enough to not feel like a dumbass, and I got got by the plot twist! OG Dan Brown books are where it's at!

While I enjoyed this book a lot, it was still my least favorite of the 4 Dan Brown books I have read. He has definitely gotten better with practice.
Maybe my favorite Dan Brown. It's action packed and very well paced. A lot of fun!

What can I say, i know his books are formulaic, but they hook me in every time. He writes very intelligent mysteries!

How much do we love polar exploration?! So much. While this novel does not include actual polar exploration, the main characters do go to the Arctic. The best part was that there's a note at the beginning of the book that says all the technology described in the book is real. That blew my mind. The whole time I was reading it, I was like, “NO WAY.” It's good, yeah.

My first Dan Brown book I ever read. Got it from a Cheerios box! It made me a fan of his.
This was a classic Dan Brown style thriller. I guess he's got a formula that works and he sticks with it. I did find it a bit wordy when it came to descriptions of technological equipment. Eventually I skimmed paragraphs about helicopters, boats, etc., so I could get back to the story. I did figure out the bad guy well before the end, but I think thars because I'm so used to Brown's formula now.. Maybe if this was the first time I'd read one of his books I wouldn't have figured it out.
