Deception Point

Dan Brown

3.5 AVERAGE

Like so many other people, I'm a big fan of Dan Brown's other work and was excited to have a thrilling read for the beach. Unfortunately I did not enjoy this as much as Angels & Demons or The Lost Symbol, I didn't find it to be a page turner like the other ones. However I did really enjoy the insight you got in the White House and NASA.

DID NOT FINISH: 42%

Very predictable. It was too boring and a waste of time. Could've been a lot shorter. Many things just didn't give to the lot and weren't necessary.

4.5 stars. This book is how to infodump without making it boring.

I wish I could rate it more than 3 but somehow I couldn’t connect to the story. I wanted it to give me that nail biting, breath holding experience, but where is that. It dwell so much into building the plot and once the plot is at its peak what happened exactly? I mean I do believe in twists and turns but there should be a reason. The villain became villain without any reason and the supposed villain died a martyr. In the end everything seemed vague. Like what did nasa head told Henry? How he react to that? Where are those details? And wait, why Pickering and her switched places?
Was it absolutely necessary for Rachel to act in lincon room? Initially everything was slow, my head was spinning with too much information and by end everything was rushed. Why why why??
Yeah one should like it if they can remove the pre notion of reading Dan brown, I couldn’t.
It’s fine one time read I guess.

I love all dan brown book's

A rip-roaring and faced-paced thriller from Dan that I felt compelled to read again! It was equally entertaining the second time around! Scientific shenanigans in the Artic.
