What a unique book idea. I loved Jason and Nicole, their character development and the growth in their relationship.  A fun and quick read for a romance lover

Well-written. Reflected several experiences of married life in very relatable way. Overall story and character struggles raise points that could drive thoughtful discussion. I especially appreciated the articulation of couples in mid life. 
Need to let it percolate a bit more.....

This was an interesting premise with a happily married couple that decides to take a sabbatical from their marriage and each going on their own adventure with limited communication and rules that allows them to have relationships with other people. 

Jason goes to South America on a long motorcycle trip while Nicole goes to New Mexico to pursue her dreams of jewelry making. Their kids are both on another country for study abroad. I enjoyed the emails that were exchanged between Nicole and Jason and their self discovery/ mid life journey was good to see. I am not sure I agree with the sex with others since it totally defeats the purpose of marriage vows. The story was enjoyable and I did like how they learned to love each other more.
