I liked this book! I love a friend to lovers! AND He’s been in love with her since the beginning?!?!?! YES PLEASE!!! And they honestly think of fake dating trope is the perfect trope to go along with us because they’re both pretending, but one of them isn’t. And the other one slowly starts to fall for them through the little moments of seeing them through this romantic lens for the first time and I love it love it love it. I do wish there would have been more time of Sarah falling for Brooks, I feel like she was trying to make Seb mad at first and then suddenly she wants to be with Brooks sexually and doesn’t think about the repercussions for the friendship. I think I just would have liked to see her sit with her feelings a little longer. I also love the tangled web and overlapping livelihoods that happen in this book. It kept getting more and more complicated, and I kept panicking about how they were gonna untangle this mess😂 I really really like the Langfield family. The bond the brothers have is really nice to see and I’m glad I kept reading even though I didn’t really like the last book. I enjoyed this one and can’t wait to read the next!

Cute book but highly predictable. One thing that felt off was the MC is a 30 year old professional hockey player that’s a virgin. Really!?!?!
I won’t listen to it again .
