This book is well written and starts out very interesting. I personally got a little bored reading the more scientific (as opposed to anecdotal) parts of the book, but that may be just me. I would definitely read another book by this author.
DNF for now…switching formats to audiobook

Eh. Nothing new here. If you’ve read any book on addiction or sugar (or this authors previous work), you’ll won’t find much new here except the anecdotes about people he’s met (eg food addicts). I was very disappointed.
Scott Brick is one of my all-time favorite narrators and his performance certainly helped.
This is realistically more like a 2, but I’m feeling generous as maybe there is someone out there who will be surprised sugar hijacks the brain?

Couldn't help but feel that we'd be better severed by an updated edition of Salt, Sugar, Fat as these two books had a lot of overlap, and as this one seemed to be lacking when compared to the first.
