{My thoughts} – Roan is on his last year at Jedi Academy. He is doing great with his friendships. He’s even made friends with the new girl at school. Some of the previous kids that were giving him a rough time aren’t anymore. And some of those that weren’t are now. He is just kind of taking things one day at a time, because that is really his only option.

Roan is like any other middle schooler. Just trying to survive school and make a few friends along the way.

I really enjoyed reading this book and read parts of it to my two year old when she was sitting on my lap. She seemed to like looking at all the illustrations the most. Honestly who could blame her? They are extremely well done! The words and the illustrations go together hand and hand.

I think that any child that loves Star Wars will enjoy reading this book. I love the illustrations within the pages. They give you a lot to look at and explore. I enjoy reading books like this because they are fun reads. I think that any child would be lucky to have this book added to their home or school library.

The end of the middle school academy but I hope there are more!

I can see the appeal of these compact but loaded graphic novels (I started with #3 because the others were checked out). I only skimmed this one and likely won't read the others, but now I can sell the series to middle schoolers. Roan tells his story through journals, newspaper clippings, comic sequences, and thought-provoking doodles--of going to the Jedi Academy, gaining cool powers like how to fly, spending more time with his (girl)friend Gianna, dealing with bullies and a mean mentor. This is a solid Harry Potter-eque story with wide appeal.

I have an unabashed love for this series. Now that Roan is out of Middle School, I am curious where the story will go! I will miss Mr. G and Master Yoda. I hope they find a way to the next level Academy!

Not bad for a tutoring job, this series is cute in its own way and holds my attention as well as the student's.

My interest in the series has decreased a little with each book, but this is the first one that started to feel repetitive. I'm curious to see where the series goes (is it still going?) because it definitely felt like it was time to move on from middle school. I really have enjoyed reading this one alongside my students, as interest really drummed up for this over the summer.

This was a cute finish to the Jedi Academy series. The series deals with issues that many kids face during this time period with the added fun of Star Wars.

This is a great series! A terrific middle grade book for reluctant readers, or just for those of us who love Star Wars!

Another fun read at bed time. Looking forward to more in the series. The boy gives it 5 stars.
