Read it in a one sitting . I love the Camorra so much . There bond , the love between them. The relationship between adomo, savio , remo and kiara was so precious.❤️

So here's the thing...I loved Kiara and Nino in their book. I was excited for this book. Well that was until I started reading it and I wanted to throw it across the room. Why you might ask? Well it's because it's the 4th time I'm re-reading what happened in Twisted Pride. Don't get me wrong, Remo and Serafina are hands down my favorite couple. Their book was amazing!! But then we re-read portions of this again in Dante's book, Bound by the Past. Then we re-read it for a good portion of Fragile Longing. And then almost 70% of this book is re-reading that book again.
Of course, we get it from different perspectives, but seriously, enough is enough!!! This book should've started from where Twisted Pride ended. NOT rehashing it all over again. We already had portions of Kiara and Nino's POV just from the story. One thing I can't stand in books/series is going over things I've already read about.
Honestly, it ruined this story. And it made me start disliking Kiara, because I really found her to be whiny in this one. Like overly so.
I'm a little nervous to read the last two books. They have really bad ratings, and after the last couple I've read, I'm starting to feel like I need to just walk away.

I really enjoyed this book. When twisted emotions ended I felt that it was unfinished and the ending was very rushed but I understand why now. This books started off from exactly where twisted emotions ended. It was spaced between 2-3 years so you can imagine how much had happened. We got Nino and Kiaras perspective of Remo and Serafinas story while also seeing them face their own problems.
My heart broke for Kiara, they were trying to have a baby for nearly 2 years and nothing was working out. Seeing her break down was not easy. However I loved how Remo of all people was with Kiara, comforting her. All that pain was later forgotten when they found Alessio. The moment they lay their eyes on him, they knew that Alessio was theirs, no matter where he came from. I knew Kiara would be an amazing mother but actually seeing how she was with the twins and Alessio just confirmed it. Also I agree with Adamo.
“I hugged Adamo tightly. “I’ll miss you. Behave in New York all right?”
Adamo nodded then pulled back. “I’ll come to visit in summer for Fabiano’s wedding, and when you give birth to him.”
“Him?” I said curiously.
“You’re a boy mom. I can’t see you with a daughter. You whipped us into shape.”
I laughed at his assessment.”
Kiara changed the Falcone brothers for the better and I don’t think any of them could imagine their life without Kiara anymore. Her bond with the Falcone brothers is just something else in this book. If I ever read this again it would be for them. I’ve always loved Adamo and Kiara from their first book but seeing their bond develop so much made me so happy. It developed to such an extent that after Adamo went missing, after days of no contact with anyone, the first person he thought to call was Kiara and tell her everything. My heart
