Dr. Seuss generally has excellent stuff but "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is especially a classic. Features Dr. Seuss unique artwork style and is deservedly a world renowned classic in children's books. Where would we be without the character of The Grinch and the pop culture (including at least 3 movies) the old green scoundrel has inspired? The only thing for me is the Grinch's transformation at the end of the story is extremely abrupt and the last page is a massive leap forward compared with where things were on the previous. Still though, this is a solid book.

Velmi krátká dětská klasika, která vás zahřeje u srdíčka. Myslím, že každý z nás zná filmovou adaptaci a já bych dala šanci i knize. Určitě plánuju přečíst příští Vánoce znovu. A ty ilustrace jsou opravdu nádherné.

شک داشتم فیلمش رو ببینم یا کتابش رو بخونم؛ به‌خاطر حجمِ کم‌ترِ کتاب رفتم سراغِ اون که ببینم داستان چطوریه و تم‌اش جذبم می‌کنه یا نه. و خب خوشحالم که اول این کار رو کردم و دو ساعت زمان و هفتصد مگابایت اینترنت بابت فیلمش ندادم.
گمونم آثار دکتر سوس تاریخ انقضا دارن. از یه سنی به بعد یه «نه» بزرگن.

Most már 3. éve veszem elő a Grincs történetét karácsonyi hangolódás céljából és egyre jobban tetszik. ☺️ Ez a haragos kis zöld szörnyeteg, akinek két számmal kisebb a szíve vagy a cipője? 😃, de a végére szerencsére háromszorosára nő, az én szívemhez is hozzánőtt! ☺️
Plusz érzelmi kötödésként, eddig, tanító néniként, az osztályaimnak olvashattam fel osztálykarácsonyokon, de idén már (2023) a majdnem három hónapos kislányom is meghallgathatta. ❤️
