I am absolutely in awe of how good this book is

Rereading my favorite book series and I’m so glad because oh my god I picked up SO many details I missed my first time reading it. Celaena Sardothien the assassin that you are mwah

Badass girl boss book.
It has similar vibes to hunger games, but the main character has (vague) training so you know she'll win any fight. It takes most of the tension out of the fights because they're one sided, but they are badass and amusing.
You'd expect the plot to make it up with more personal development or a plot, but it has a basic plot and love triangle.
I would take this over Fourth Wing with the improved sexual tension and lack of explicit scenes.

I give it a 3.5 star rating.
The story was really really good and I enjoyed the last half of the book a lot, but the build up took so long and I wish some parts were more detailed and others less. It really took me ages to read the first half because it was pretty boring but in the end, it was worth it because the second part was beautiful.
I get the rage about this book however. I hope the rest of the series continues the story like it and doesn't start again with a lot of build up.

Před nějakou dobou jsem četla Dvůr Trnů a Růží a upřímně to mě zas tolik nezaujalo, tak jsem si řekla že si přečtu tohle, protože jsem o tom slyšela dost dobrých věcí. A všechno to je pravda, je to fakt něco. Je tam všechno co v knihách miluju: fantasy, vraždy, záhada a trochu té lásky. Prostě skvěleee
