Jae & Raphael are everything!!
It’s been a while since 2 characters have moved me like this. Raphael became quietly obsessed with Jaehyun. So much so that he let it consume him. Eventually his obsession became his reality. Jaehyun’s world was very different from Raphael’s. And he was so scared to let Raphael in. But I’m so glad he did. They had so many hurdles to overcome together. I can’t get them and their story out of my head!! I need more. Zachary Zaba did an amazing job narrating both Rapha & Jae.

The writing is really good. This book is hella spicy, but it's also about cheating? And light stalking? And, well, I'm pretty sure this relationship is toxic at the beginning given how one MC is absolutely obsessed with the other. But also, yeah ok, humans are flawed, people cheat and they make mistakes.

I almost quit this book several times during the first 100 pages and I am glad that I didn’t.
I knew this had the cheating trope going in so that didn’t bother me as much as it seems to have bothered other reviewers.
What almost caused me to quit were the errors, there were soooo many in the beginning, and the excessive use of the words man and dude and the end of every other sentence. Also, it took me a while to get comfortable with the writing and characters.
Was this the best book I have ever read? No, but it was really, really good once I was able to settle into it.
