Hamartia is amazing!
I can't put my finger on the one specific thing that makes it special; all of it's pieces come together to make it magical.

This is the beautiful angst filled story of a "straight" rockstar, Raphael, and a K-pop idol, Jae, falling in love. It is insta love for Rapha, but it takes Jae 2 long years of Rapha pining for him before Jae becomes enamored with Rapha.
The book is rife with their struggles. There are obvious difficulties: the fame each of them live with, their insane schedules, the distance, and definitely, Rapha's very public engagement to a female french movie star. Additionally, they also both have internal issues: childhood abandonment and rejection, Jae's feelings of worthlessness, and both of their past relationships. In the end they work hard to make their love beautiful.
This lovely tale of an unlikely couple, who love each other so much, the only choice they have is to love each other fully and completely.

Hamartia is pretty spicy. I'm giving it 🌶🌶🌶🌶4/5 chilies on the spicy scale. Had it been a bit more adventurous, like including toys or other locations, I would have definitely given it 5 chilies because the scenes are very descriptive.

I listened to the audiobook. Zachary Zaba is amazing. I'm so glad I listened to this because there were a lot of words from other languages that I would not have been able to understand without Zachary's pronunciation.
