Honestly don’t get hype around this series. The plot is sooooooo slow. I feel like this series could’ve been 2 book not four. While remit definately has some interesting elements I feel the authors wiring is completely boring. I love fantasy books and strong female characters but I really struggled with this series and definitely won’t recommend to anyone.

1) Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

2) Genre: Young Adult / Fantasy

3) Synopsis: Thief turned wizard joins the heir to the thrown in a battle to recover her crown.

4) Feelings: Cinda Williams Chima is one of my favorite authors. This is the third book in this series and it is excellent. The main character Han Alister makes for a fun read. Some characters are so complex that you can't really decide whether to like them or dislike them. Very enjoyable read.

5) Final recommendation: This is the third book in the series. I wouldn't read this until you have read the other two. However, I highly recommend that you read it.

This is my favorite of the series thus far.

What an amazingly well written and fleshed out ride this has been. Can't wait to read the next!

2,5 maybe?
What is going on here?
After the amazing second half of book 2, I thought this series would really take off in this instalment.
Instead the whole book consisted of nothing but TALK.
Very few things actually happened and I only suffered through it because I like these characters so much.
I really really hope that book 4 will be better :(

I freaking loved this book!

I love Hans.
I love Raisa.
I wanted more from this book because I never wanted it to end.

It was amazing guys.

I'm so freaking happy now because Hans knows who Raisa is now. FINALLY! It needed to happen before my head would explode. WHY? Because I'm shipping the fuck out of those two and they can't form a relationship based on lies!

Also, I still hate Micah and his crappy wizarding family. They can all go to hell. I didn't like how the wizard council wanted Raisa dead. I didn't like how they were trying to get her little sister to take the throne.

All I know is that I wanted a long list of people dead in this book. I want Raisa and Han's to be together. I'm expecting a whole lot of romance to happen in the next book. I also would love to read some kick ass revenge scenes where Micah and everyone else that wanted her dead or whatever. I can't wait for the next book. I want more.
