Fast paced and intriguing, with good characters that you want to see succeed. But ultimately the ending was quite anticlimactic.

4.5 Stars - A really solid follow up to Lavender House. The mystery was compelling and the new characters were fun too! I really like that we got to more about Evander and his past too! This book wasn’t as silly as its predecessor, but it’s definitely Queerer, which works for me!

These aren't necessarily my usual fair, but they're still great. And this one was a really excellent sequel.

I know I read the first book but I barely remember it. I’m pretty sure I liked this one a bit more as well. Liked the characters and the setting. A challenging time for queer people, for sure. I’ll definitely read more in this series if they come.
