Having eye surgery isn’t fun. You go in and they give you medicine to calm you down, it doesn’t, then you lie down. You go through a few basic checks and then they use a device that makes it impossible to close your eye. It only gets worse from there. I’ve had two eye surgeries on my right eye, and one on my left. Those surgeries were more pleasurable than reading this book.
I’m not convinced that the author has ever had a proper conversation with a woman, or sees any value in women beyond being sexual objects. This novel was so tedious and while I can appreciate the concept, it was poorly executed and ideas were not adequately addressed. A book I would happily never had read.
