what the hell. i feel like i just wasted my time. i kept thinking something big would happen and it didn't. most of the time even confusing books i can come around to understand but this was awful. i have some ideas on what the greater meaning might have been but nothing concrete. hate to say it but i didn't enjoy this book.

For the time being at least, I won’t give this book a star rating.
Though it is written in an interesting way, and I thought the scenes and plot develop in a dream like way that feels like stream of consciousness and was fascinating, I just simply didn’t like it. I didn’t like it as much as Amerika, which I thought was pretty good, or The Metamorphosis, which I truly loved.
