Franz Kafka

Paranoid and dizzying. Dreamlike characters and scenes whose unclear natures only contribute to the overwhelming sense of frustration that Josef K. and the reader are constantly being subjected to. The dialogue seems both allegorical and intentionally meant to set a tone of futility in understanding what's going on.

Worth the read. I wish I had read it for a book club though, as there is a lot to talk about.

A challenge to follow along in this mix of philosophy, Alice in Wonderland and 1984.

An experience to read. I wish my friends would read this so I can better grasp what the heck I read. Only when I had a moment of feeling extreme guilt, praying to God kinda stuff, did K. resonate deeply with me.
