challenging mysterious

As drawn out and infuriating as the trial itself. Though I get that there was method to the style I, like K., felt only exhaustion at the inevitable (and abrupt) conclusion.
challenging dark mysterious tense fast-paced

Much more satisfying and conclusive end than The Castle. A classic explorations of excruciating bureaucracy and the ambiguous, deadly machinations of auth0ritarianism.

I loved the begging of the story and I think that make the rest not so good

now I really know what Kafkaesque means

Hard to read. At its best, it leaves you in sympathetic anxiety for K, at its worst, rambling wordiness exhausts and bores you. The metaphorical trial remains relevant despite being dated, though it contains circumstances that don't age as well.
