Spock and Saavik bond. Sarek & PICARD are at this Vulcan rite. Picard is just a lieutenant. I was surprised that he was in this book! It kept me turning the pages!
Later Spock gets a top secret message from deep inside the Romulan empire!! Many years ago Spock had betrayed a Romulan who now needs his help to save the quadrant! So what does Spock do! He risks his life by going to Romulus but ugh Saavik takes off to the Neutral Zone to save him!!
So Spock is now knee deep in political intrigue on ROMULUS with the Saavik issue making matters worse!! How will he get out of this?! And of course save the quadrant?!
I love Spock stories!!

Very good. I love learning about the various ST races beyond the "they're like humans, but x" things you get from the show.

This was another audio. Well read and interesting. Its an interesting story about Ambassador Spock risking his life to help the Romulans who he suspects are related to the Vulcans.
Its a decent story full of great side characters, intrigue and action, my problem is that I just don't like Romulans. Their whole society is just very frustrating and annoying to me so I didn't enjoy the story as much as I would've. Its a good story, though not one I'll run out and buy.
