Endless is the word lol. It's an interesting concept (kind of an Overstory for kids?) but there's just SO MUCH of it. Maybe it's better when you're a child? Because I found it too on the nose. Although the ending is very, very sweet. But it took forever to get anywhere in the beginning (after the very first chapter or two were super intriguing), and then it took forever to get through the middle, and then it took forever to get through the end. I have zero urge to see the movie or recommend it to anyone else.

Where to even start here? I loved this story! It was imaginative, vivid, and original! I loved the different places and peoples invented by the author and the magic book. So why the 3 star review? Well, because the book lived up to its name alittle TOO well. This book went on and on and on. I really feel like it should have been 2 books. Their were 2 different sets of main characters, and I felt each deserved their own book. I loved the story, but not the length.
