Such a cute book! All of the characters were interesting and I'm so glad there are other books about the other friends.
Love polyamorous and POC AND pansexual rep in the main characters!
There were a few closed door sex scenes, short descriptions of things getting ramped up but would fade to black before things got graphic.

Mason and Diego. I liked the story, but wasn’t truly pulled in. I wanted to see more of them settling into life together with Clarice.

It's a really nice and cute story. But something about the writing irked me. I also think capitalisation words to make it A Thing, kind of loses it's power when it's done at least once in each chapter.

Didn’t feel like anything else would happen within the story.

What a GREAT read to start 2024. :)
This was suuuuuuch a cute book. I absolutely LOVED the main character, Mason. And like many queer books I've read I also really like his romantic interest, Diego. And unlike many other books, I ALSO really enjoyed Diego's spouse Claris !!!! LOLLLLL
This was an interesting story about queer romance and a polyamorous marriage. I will also say how I loved that just about everyone in this story is LGBTQ+ (because BOOOO straight people!! KIDDING OF COURSE).
I loved seeing the almost instant chemistry with Mason and Diego and I found myself smiling whenever they were together. It was so cute and effortless until, ya know, until it wasn't. It was so cute to see them be silly together, and not to be a hopeless romantic (ugh already know I am) but it gave me such a different outlook on dating and relationships.
Really the only thing I wish there was more of was more resolution on how Mason and Diego and Claris were going to move forward with their relationship / situation (not to be confused with situationship). I feel like the entire novel is Mason being cautious and doubtful of what the reality would be in the future of their situation - and I don't really feel like that was resolved at all. I myself still have a lot of questions about how this would work out... and I can't believe some of the questions I have weren't really asked. ALSO, I can say with confidence that I do not like Oscar... WOOF I would not have had the cool Mason had with him.
Anyways... this was quite a cute book and I would 100% recommend :))
