Early and average for Coben. His first book was much better. Now I’ve read every one.

This one was a good premise but it wasn’t executed well in my opinion. He sure had the politicians and religious leaders right though. Nothing has changed in their regard in all of these years.

Might be one of the older Coben books, but it's still a good one.

Read in 2009, listened in november 2011 (thought it was a book of which I forgot the title..turned out not to be this one)

(memo to self, this is NOT the snake book but:
Basketball player gets sick, woman newsreader/journalist with cane. Cure for HIV, killer in hospital. (Harvey covering up that it was not working).. / AIDS research, SRI - Harvey covering up that it was not working. Pretending Michael had AIDS had him kidnapped, Sara (limp) and news show anchor. )

Ugh. Glad that's over. I checked out the digital version of this book from the library and didn't get the "warning". I thought I was going CRAZY until I read that this was a re-release of one of Coben's first books. I wondered why I wasn't loving it as much as I have loved his others. I'm going to be more careful from now on.

🎧 Huge Harlan Coben fan. This was an interesting listen with an even more interesting storyline idea. It’s not one of my favourites of Cobens but that’s purely because I love his Myron and Win book series and just wish all Cobens books had them in it. He does love his all star American athlete characters though 😉 and I love how he writes such well developed characters. It flowed well and had the usual suspense thrown in. Few twists along the way that kept the intrigue. Worth a read.
