DID NOT FINISH: 75%

Probably would have finished it if it was half the length. I got so bored in the second half. And since there is still some book left I'm taking a wild guess that I'm only skipping the unnecessary third act break up and the pregnancy epilogue.

Ryan freaking Shay!! The acts of service! I teared up multiple times.

Order I read the Windy City Books
1. Play Along #4 (read Set 2024, 5 stars, physical only)
2. Caught Up #3 (read Feb 2025, 5 stars, ebook only)
3. Mile High #1 (read Sep 2025, 5 stars, ebook and audio)
4. The Right Move #2 (read Sep 2025, 5 stars, ebook and audio)

My ranking of the Windy City series (so far)
1. Play Along #4 (read Set 2024, 5 stars)
2. Caught Up #3 (read Feb 2025, 5 stars)
3. The Right Move #2 (read Sep 2025, 5 stars)
4. Mile High #1 (read Sep 2025, 5 stars)

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the audiobook for this one. For me, it was a big step up from the first book, which felt a little flat at times. Ryan and Indy’s dynamic was so much fun. I also loved how their story intertwined with the rest of the characters.

I’d go as far as to call this a six star read. I LOVED this book. As an acts of service girlie, Ryan Shay is everything I need. Loved loved LOVED the Deaf rep with Indy being a CODA and Ryan learning ASL to communicate with her dad. The ONLY thing keeping me from committing to this being a six star read were the names of Ryan and Indy’s kids in the epilogue. You’re telling me a woman named “Indigo Ivers” named her daughter Navy and her son Iverson?? Idk it’s giving cliche and tacky. But other than that, this book is perfect. I laughed, cried l, squealed, and blushed.
