Hades owns me.

I’m scared for what’s coming next, I just want a little bit of fucking peace please! But also I’m loving the roller coaster of emotions this has me on and I’m living for all the Greek mythology references and how they’re entangled in this saga.

"There are few truths in this world but the one you must always remember is that I love you."

This is by far my favorite book in the whole series!! I really enjoyed the storyline.

Hades POV in A Game of Retribution is 10 times better than Persephone's POV in Touch of Ruin. We got to take a deeper look into Hades himself.

We see how much he really loves Persephone's and see how hard he fights for her even though she doesn't realize it. I also love that we get to meet all the other Gods/Goddesses. There is a lot going on politically that we wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I love Hades so much! I love his side of things so much as it helps piece together his reactions/emotions in ATOR. Many times when reading I would go “ohh, that makes sense now.” I’m so glad I found this series and each book just gets better and better.

This book was everything!! I love hades'dry humour in general. Combined with the more godly side of new Athens and all the pain and whump which we know from Touch of Ruin, this was just perfect. Scorchingly hot at times, too. Truly a rollercoaster of different emotions that didn't war with each other despite how extreme the change sometimes was.

Proper review in a few days!

The Hades books are definitely more interesting than the ones from Persephone. There is a lot more interesting stuff going on and I'm not the biggest fan of Persephone's overall. But why is there SO. MUCH. SEX?! I really don't dislike spice, but oof...
Not sure yet how to proceed. Confinue with both series, only read the last book from Hades... we'll see.
But, damn, girl, get a grip and stop being so annoying.
