Definitely didn’t love this one as much as the others so far- I like Hades plot that’s developing but I found myself skipping over the rehashes of the last book. The pacing in this one was a lot more variable- that that made it harder to get into.

I absolutely loved Hades' POV! This book gave so much more depth to the story, showing why he wasn’t always present and the struggles he faced to keep his love for Persephone alive. His fight for Hera’s blessing was such a powerful display of just how deeply he loves her.

One of my biggest frustrations in *A Touch of Ruin* was how childish and bratty Persephone became. But seeing things from Hades’ perspective helped me understand her immaturity. She’s still young, sheltered for most of her life, and hasn’t learned how to navigate loss or responsibility. Hades’ realization of this was eye-opening for me, too.

The emotional weight of this book hit even harder than *A Touch of Ruin.* There was one scene in particular that absolutely wrecked me. Seeing Hades' pain—losing a friend and watching the woman he loves suffer—gave the moment so much more depth than Persephone’s POV ever could.

That cliffhanger, though! I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Well damn, there was a lot happening on Hades side during this time for him and Persephone. First off he took was stupid and annoying at times. Still loving this series because it feels like a reality tv show lol

Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book as the ending of this book shocked me! There’s a lot of secret people involved and I just wonder how this series will end
