This book is gorgeous. It is heavy and doesn't shirk away from its own weight, but it is deeply beautiful for that very same reason. There are content warnings at the start - it covers each of the sensitive topics with empathy, sincerity, and care, never as simple plot devices or trauma voyeurism. The characters are stunningly complex and appealing - I will miss them. I think this is one of those books that leave you a better person after reading them.

I listened to this book on audio and I highly recommend that format. The narrators are phenomenal.

This book is one of the best I’ve read in a while. Just hit all the feels and great storytelling. I will be recommending this book to students and teachers alike!

I honestly don't think I've ever cried for a book than I just did. I loved this so much I can't even put it into words. I love it so much that I'm literally typing this with puffy eyes and trying to see through my tears.
