Fun sci-fi thriller! Some good twists and turns, but i would have liked to dig into what the other worlds were like a little bit more. I know the plot was focused on him gettting home, but that felt like a bit of a missed opportunity to really bring life to the other worlds. Besides that, it was super fun read. I’m excited to watch the show.

"We all live day to day completely oblivious to the fact that we’re a part of a much larger and stranger reality than we can possibly imagine."
Do you ever feel like the universe has you wait on something because it knows you'll need it later? I wanted to read this book in October but I've had so many awful things happen in the last few weeks that I wasn't reading much. I picked this book up a few days ago and it was the perfect one to lose myself in.
The ride was wild though. I can see why they say this is Blake Crouch's best work. From all that I've read of his so far, this is easily my favorite.
This is a book that is so compelling so...I need to know what the hell is going on and how it ends. One that if you could, you would hole up for the day and read it all the way through. I never have that luxury though.
After being abducted one night by a masked man, Jason is knocked unconscious and wakes up in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by unfamiliar people who seem to think he's somebody he's not. What's going on? Where is his wife and son? These are questions that he tries to answer. But, as he discovers more and more about his situation, he starts to doubt what is real and what is not. Doubt whether he'll ever make it back to his life. Doubt whether it ever even existed at all.
While reading this book, at points, you think you've got it. You think you know where it's going and what's going to happen but guess what...it gets crazier!
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a sci-fi fan but I also challenge you to check it out if that isn't your genre of choice either!

Take a shot any time it goes into too much detail about a door locking.

Very enjoyable action packed book of a man who desperately trying to get back to his family. There's more than that to this book though, mostly a lot of science some real and some premised but sounds very convincing all the same. It's not a perfect book but the plot is terrific.
