Not really for me, but I can see why others would enjoy it

“There is nothing like tasting a fig straight from the tree, sun-warmed and tender. You can eat the whole of it. The whole thing. The skin, the purple flesh, the seeds. Divine. Eat the whole fig, that’s my advice. And take it from the tree, right in that moment, when you get the chance.”

A bit silly with plot holes the size of Ibiza.  The interconnectedness trope was repeated ad nauseam until each ‘deep’ message sounded like a fridge magnet (ironically). However, I liked Grace very much.

Just not wanting to pick up. Gets more confusing. Just gonna look up what happens

This book left me unsure of what I read.

It's the story about grief, self-discovery, murder mystery and aliens?

I am truly confused as to what I read. We are left with a ton of unanswered questions. The big one is, WHAT HAPPENED TO CHRISTINA? The case is still open!

I have come to the conclusion that Matt Haig is not the author for me. This is the second book of his I've read, and his work leaves me feeling with an "I DONT KNOW" feeling.

Did I like it? I don't know, Is it good? I don't know, What's it about? I don't know.

Liked the premise but found it hard to fully connect with. Felt like it tried to be philosophical in parts but ended up sounding generic. Maybe would have enjoyed more if I’d read it in bigger chunks though.
